Constitution Update — Worcestershire Prostate Cancer Support Group
There are some areas of the constitution we believe need to be refreshed. We have used the proposed constitution template that Tackle Prostate Cancer has supplied as a base. Tackle Prostate Cancer federates local prostate cancer support groups (www.tackleprostate.org).
The main objective for the Worcestershire Prostate Cancer Support Group is to support men and their families as they navigate a cancer diagnosis, and this objective has not changed.
AGM and Notice of Changes
In the constitution dated 20 January 2015, in section T (Alterations to the Constitution), any changes are required to be voted on at the AGM and notice of the AGM must include the terms of the alteration proposed.
The AGM is scheduled for 19 January 2026. Members have been advised of this within the quarterly magazine that was distributed on 4 December 2025. The updated constitution was not included and therefore will be sent out to members via email.
